Competitions

The Club promotes and organizes a full range of competitions throughout the Calendar year, including monthly medals, regular Stablefords, nationally sponsored competitions, summer knock out and winter league competitions and a club championship. In addition, there is the North Gloucestershire Foursomes League, County Union Matches, Club night, ‘B’ Team Matches, Open competitions, inter-section matches and the occasional friendly. The Ladies and Senior and Junior Sections also provide a full competition calendar.

Members Competitions are held on the following Days:

• Seniors – Tuesday & Thursday 7-9am & 10.28-11am
• Ladies – Wednesdays 10.28-10.56am
• Mens Sunday Mornings 7-11am
• Club Night Thursdays 4.30pm – 6pm

A Presentation night is held in November where all Trophies are awarded to the competition winners. Members are expected to attend Presentation night to support the Trophy winners. Presentations may also be held after certain competitions and events throughout the year and members competing in these are expected as a matter of courtesy to attend the evening presentation, as a thank you to the hosts and to congratulate the winners. A Captains Dinner is held in January of each year and appropriate dress is requested on all these occasions.
