Dress Code

Please read the clubs dress code here

Smart customary golf wear is expected on the course.

In the clubhouse, smart casual clothing is expected, other than on certain occasions when a specified dress code will be advised.

Examples of what the Committee expects these standards to mean in practice:

Golf shoes, hats, and dirty or torn clothing should not be worn in the clubhouse
Running shorts, cycling shorts and beach wear should not be worn anywhere on the premises
Shirts may be worn outside trousers/shorts/skirts if designed to be worn that way
Deck shoes and sandals may be worn in the clubhouse without socks
Changing into and out of golf clothes should be done in the changing rooms and not in the car park

These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our
online booking facility.

Payment

You will be required to enter credit or debit card details
to make a booking.

Tee Time Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your booking online via our club website by entering
your unique booking reference number or by contacting the club.
Bookings Must be cancelled 24 hours prior to play, and credit notes will be arranged for another date to suit you.
Refunds are only available at the Managers Discretion.

If you fail to cancel your booking before you play, you will be
liable for the full value of the green fees due.

Course Closed

If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being
closed (e.g. bad weather), you will be offered an alternative date.

Booking Transferable

The booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable
to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such
as a family member or friend.

Handicaps

This facility is only available to golfers who have a handicap of 28 or
less (men) or 36 or less (ladies). If you don’t have a handicap, you
must be able to play to an equivalent standard.

Dress Code

Golf Attire must be worn whilst playing at Gloucester Golf Club. The following are not permitted:
denims, sports shorts, football/rugby tops, Trainers are not permitted on the Golf Course.

Membership 

The membership season runs from March 1st to February 28th and is a 12 month contract this cannot be cancelled midway through the year. Members will be asked when renewals are sent out in January whether they are rejoining. You are entering into a rolling contract at Gloucester Golf Club and unless written confirmation is received by the General Manager before the renewal date (March 1st), you will be entering into another year of membership. By renewing your Direct Debit Policy, you are entering into another year of membership at Gloucester Golf Club.

Spikes

Spikes or soft spikes may be worn.
