Yesterday saw 170 people play in John Christies Presidents Day. With the weather being typically British and treating us all to some rain, it was brilliant to see so much support from you all.

Our new half way house proved to be a fantastic success and will be open regularly from now onwards.

I’d like to thank Nikki for all her hard work. The bar staff were fantastic as I’m sure you all agree. The course was in the best condition it has been so I’d also like to thank Kevan and his team for all the effort and hard work.

The Ladies winner was Sara Poultney with 38 Points.

Division 2 winner and overall winner was Don Critchley with 44 Points.
Division 2 runner up was Paul Elkins with 42 Points.
Division 2 third place was John Stewart with 41 Points.

Division 1 winner was Andy Bossons with 41 Points.
Division 1 runner up was Don Robins with 40 Points.
Division 1 third place was Graham Rogers with 40 Points.

Finally I’d like to say a massive thank you to The President John Christie. The day was enjoyed by everyone and it was fantastic to see everyone laughing and joking together. Photos of the day will be followed when John can find the memory stick for his camera that he took all the photos on !!!!
