We are delighted to now have taken delivery of our new Verti Drain, this will now allow the Greenkeepers to keep on improving the standard of the Golf Course.
This new addition will now join the recently purhcased Aercore, Top Dresser and Greens Iron.
Aeration is a major factor on improving the playability of Golf Courses and the new Verti Drain has the abiltity to now really break up the base layers below the ground by putting holes up to 14″ deep into the ground, this can only be beneficial and help the health of the course.
Aeration helps stop compaction and will help fight against the thatch that builds up on the surface of the Putting Greens. The new Greens Iron is fantastic in improving the Putting surfaces but does cause campaction below the ground and we need to be able to combat this by aerating the greens with the Aercore and new Verti Drain.
