Last weekend saw Gary Ash win the Ellis Club Championship with rounds of 77 and 75 to claim his 5th title of Ellis Club Champion. Gary entered Sunday trailing Rob Smith by 4 shots and with a fantastic second round in tough conditions which saw players called in twice for suspended play due to thunder and lightening, eventually claimed the title by 3 shots to Gary Campbell. Jonathan Trinder claimed the title of Scott Cup with 2 fantastic rounds of nett 68 and nett 62 to win by 9 shots from Junior Member Beau Gwilliam. Congratulations to both Gary and Jonathan on their triumph.
