It is with great delight to announce that Gloucester Golf Club have awarded Gerry Osborn Honorary Membership at Gloucester Golf Club.

Gerry joined Gloucester Golf Club in 1987 and it is no surprise that very quickly Gerry was appointed Captain in 1991. Once involved in the Committee at Gloucester Golf Club Gerry became a figure head who we all knew we could turn to for advice.

Gerry then became the clubs honorary Secretary where he held this position for 20 years, before becoming President in 2011-2013.

Gerry has also been Captain of the Gloucestershire Captains in 2002 and then President in 2012.

Gerry is one of the most Senior figure heads Gloucester Golf Club has ever had and always made himself available to help Gloucester Golf Club.

I would also personally like to thank Gerry has he has had a major influence on my career and i have always felt i could turn to Gerry for any advice.

Gerry has been married to Sally for 43 Years now and on behalf of Gloucester Golf Club i would like to thank Sally for all the effort and support she has shown Gerry.

It is a pleasure to be able to present this award to Gerry and as you can see we have now named the newly re furbished back room the ‘ Gerry Osborn Lounge’.
