I have now received the Full Guidance from the English Golf Union, which has now been discussed with the Directors last night.
I have attached the Guidance for all Members to be able to see, and can i ask all members to please remember that these guidelines have been set by the EGU and not Gloucester Golf Club, it is now made perfectly clear that the Golf Club will now be liable for any breaches of these Guidelines.
Below is a bullet point list of the new Operational Guidelines.
Pro Shop reception will be open
All members must be booked on BRS App this is legal requirement for track & Trace.
Any Guest names booked on BRS will be charged at a members Guest Fee to the Members Card.
Members can book 8 Days in advance for first two weeks, this will then increase back to 15 days.
Members Guests can play with Members but Green Fees will be pre charged to members cards when booked on BRS App, as Green Fees must be pre paid in advance.
Visitors can book 48 Hrs in advance if any availability, but must be pre paid through website prior to arrival.
Members must wear masks at all times whilst inside.
All Guests and Visitors must sign in on the Track and Trace Apps.
Toilets will be open.
Changing rooms will remain closed until 12th April.
Buggies may only be used by same household at present, and must be pre booked to ensure they have been cleaned prior to use.
Driving range will open but must be pre booked by phoning the Pro Shop.
No Alcohol will be served and Patio area will remain closed until 12th April.
As we receive further guidance i will keep you all updated to any changes that can be made, all of us at Gloucester Golf Club look forward to welcoming you back to play.
All Members who have now returned their Application forms and paid thank you very much, your Clubv1 will now be updated and Membership cards credited.
I will be sending out a renewal pack in the coming weeks to all members. Can i please ask everyone who has not yet updated their Date of Birth onto the Clubv1 system to please do this as you will not have a handicap allocated to you until you do. Also for those members who have now changed category can you please ensure you alter your standing orders accordingly please.
