Important Changes to be made as recommended by Government GuidelinesPosted: 23/03/2020
After receiving more Government Guidelines we are making the essential changes to ensure we are doing everything we can to keep the Golf Course Open for you to play, but we must ensure the Members safety and strict Guidelines for members safe guarding and social distancing are strictly adhered to.
From Tomorrow Monday March 23rd the following changes will be made.
All Tee times will now be moved from 8 Minute intervals to 12 Minute intervals, any current bookings will all be deleted then put back into BRS with new Tee Times. I will be doing this on a weekly basis until advised otherwise from the Government Guidelines that I receive daily.
4 Balls have been advised not to be played so we are asking all members to play in a maximum of 3 Balls.
We are asking all members that are playing to ensure they are booked onto BRS App that are playing, this is vitally important for all members including those who play in part of a Group.
The patio area will now be roped off and will become an area that is not permitted for use by anyone.
There will be no ROLL UPS arranged as this is encouraging Social gathering and we would be seen not to be adhering to the Government Guidance on what is becoming a more serious issue by the day.
We will ask all members to arrive no earlier than 15 Minutes before your tee time.
Take away menu and hot drinks will still be available and can be purchased before or half way round by calling the Pro shop from the 8th Tee.
Once you have completed your round we are asking all members to please leave the premises and do not hang around the Golf Club so we are not seen to be encouraging social gathering.
No Alcohol will be served on the Premises from Monday 23rd onwards.
All members are asked to top up their members card via the new members app and any competition entry fee will be taken off your card manually to avoid any exchange of cash or card.
All score cards will be put in the box in the Pro Shop, no signatures are required so exchanging cards is not required to happen. All scores will be manually entered into the computer by a member of staff or Director and updated on the members app so you will be able to see live updates to competitions.
No competitions will be drawn, so who ever you enter your own name to play with will be who you play with.
There are now signs up reminding members of their own responsibility to adhere to the above changes, which have had to be made to ensure we are now within the guidelines that have been set by our Government, I hope you can all appreciate that the changes are only being enforced to enable members to continue to play golf in what are very worrying times.
We strongly recommend all members follow the Governments Guidelines to their own personal circumstances and health.
